Barry Bounous
Dr. Barry Bounous is a versatile professor at Brigham Young University, renowned for his diverse range of skills in vocal performance and education. With a Doctorate of Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, he specializes in teaching English and Italian Diction for singers and serves as an interdisciplinary voice teacher at BYU. Dr. Bounous has performed in over 30 operas, oratorios, and musical theater productions, showcasing his accomplished singing and performing abilities. Beyond BYU, he and his wife, Debra, operate VoiceWorks, a private vocal school where they mentor singers in contemporary and classical styles, nurturing their talents across various disciplines to achieve their fullest potential.
