BARRY BOUNOUS

Dr. Barry Bounous is a professor at Brigham Young University with an extremely diverse range of skills. Dr. Bounous is an accomplished singer and performer and has appeared in roles in over 30 different operas, oratorios, and musical theater productions. With his Doctorate of Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, he teaches English and Italian Diction for singers at BYU and is an interdisciplinary voice teacher. Beyond his work at BYU, Dr. Bounous and his wife Debra run VoiceWorks, a private vocal school. He teaches singers in contemporary and classical styles in order to help his students reach their full potential in whatever discipline they prefer.
