BYU Philharmonic Orchestra

BYU Philharmonic Orchestra, comprising 95 talented student musicians under the direction of Dr. Kory Katseanes, is a cornerstone of Brigham Young University's musical excellence. Known for their dynamic performances of great orchestral works spanning all musical periods, the orchestra maintains a rigorous schedule, presenting up to 14 unique concerts annually on BYU’s campus. Beyond their own concerts, the Philharmonic Orchestra collaborates extensively with BYU’s opera, ballet, and choral programs. Their exceptional musicianship has earned international acclaim, including recording music for both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

The Philharmonic Orchestra is also part of BYU Combined Choirs and Orchestra.
