BYU Jazz Voices stands as Brigham Young University’s premier vocal jazz ensemble, encompassing all sub-genres of modern and traditional jazz, from blues and swing to bebop, Latin, funk, pop, and fusion. Backed by a live rhythm section, the group has shared the stage with acclaimed jazz artists such as Rosana Eckert and Corey Christiansen. These student vocalists uphold the authenticity and traditions of jazz while delivering an exhilarating and contemporary musical experience. A cornerstone of BYU’s music school for over 30 years, BYU Jazz Voices continues to captivate audiences with their dynamic interpretations spanning more than a century of jazz repertoire.
