Christie Peery Skousen
CHRISTIE PEERY SKOUSEN
Christie Peery Skousen is an award-winning pianist and instructor of piano. Skousen studied at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow as well as the Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University. She has performed as a soloist with many famous ensembles, including the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra and Utah Symphony, and has traveled all over the world to perform her own solo recitals. Christie Skousen is the founder of the Peery Piano Academy and creator of the Peery Method, which teaches students the relationship between motion and sound. Skousen is an acclaimed soloist and teacher with a lifetime of experience in piano.
