Douglas Bush
DOUGLAS BUSH
Dr. Douglas Bush was a professor of organ at Brigham Young University. Bush received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in music performance from Brigham Young University and later his PhD in musicology from the University of Texas at Austin. Beyond being a teacher, Dr. Bush was a popular organ soloist and performed in several different countries across Europe and North America, and was featured as a guest organist several times with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. Douglas Bush is also a scholar and author and published an Encyclopedia on Organ as well as several articles in various books, journals, and magazines.
Dr. Douglas Bush passed away in 2013.
