BYU Men’s Chorus
BYU MEN’S CHORUS
BYU Men’s Chorus is a Brigham Young University choir comprised of 230 student singers, making it the largest collegiate male chorus in the United States of America. Originally founded in 1901 as Male Glee, it became Men’s Chorus in 1958 and has remained a facet of BYU’s fine arts since its formation. The ensemble’s longevity is a testament to its popularity; which is not unearned as they have a large and impressive repertoire of music ranging from folk music to popular hits to hymns, and more. The group often performs for sold-out audiences and has even performed with celebrity vocalists, including Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth.
The Men’s Chorus is also part of BYU Combined Choirs and Orchestra.
