Parley Belnap
Dr. Parley Belnap, a distinguished professor of organ at Brigham Young University, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from BYU before furthering his studies under Marcel Dupre in Paris. He received his Master’s Degree in Organ and Music Theory from BYU and pursued additional graduate degrees at the Royal Flemish Conservatory in Antwerp, Belgium, during his service in the United States Army. Dr. Belnap later earned his Doctorate of Music from the University of Colorado. He served as organist at esteemed venues including the Hyde Park Chapel in London and Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Parley Belnap passed away in 2018.
