Q'd Up

Q’d Up is a dynamic jazz combo composed of BYU Faculty Members, formerly known as FJQ or Faculty Jazz Quartet. The ensemble includes Eric Hansen, Jay Lawrence, Steve Lindeman, Ron Saltmarsh, and Ray Smith, all accomplished musicians and professors with deep experience and passion for jazz. Q’d Up performs a mix of jazz standards, beloved favorites, and original compositions by its members, showcasing their collective talent and love for the genre. Their music, which retains the authentic spirit of jazz while exploring new avenues, has been featured on jazz radio stations nationwide.
