Dr. Scott Holden is a professor of piano at Brigham Young University. Holden received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan and The Juilliard School, respectively. He went on to receive his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Manhattan School of Music and joined BYU’s faculty in 2002. He has won several piano competitions throughout his lifetime and is still active as a performer. Dr. Holden also holds several prestigious awards for his piano skills and technique. While he is an active teacher, Scott Holden continues to be highly sought after as a chamber musician and soloist.
