TIMOTHY SMITH

Dr. Timothy Smith is a professor of piano at Arkansas Tech University. Smith initially received his Bachelor of Music degree from St. Olaf college, then his Master of Music and PhD from Indiana University-Bloomington. Timothy Smith has accompanied many excellent artists, performed as a vita chamber musician, and established himself as an extremely talented piano soloist. He has received several awards for his piano skill and also his teaching ability, including the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association’s “Teacher of the Year” award. Smith continues to perform as a soloist, collaborate with other artists, act as an adjudicator, and teach his students and others.
