These skilled woodwind performers are adept at multiple instruments and frequently collaborate with other quartets. Founded by saxophone professor Ray Smith in 1983, the quartet aims to educate students and the community about the art of saxophone ensembles, a mission that has resonated well, ensuring its enduring popularity and acclaim.
