BYU WIND SYMPHONY
Brigham Young University’s Wind Symphony consists of 50 accomplished student musicians playing woodwind, brass, and percussion. This concert band is known for its classical pieces, rousing marches, medleys of fan-favorite Broadway and Jazz pieces, and original band works. The Wind Symphony is a touring ensemble and has traveled throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia; over 26 countries in total. Fans are often delighted by the Symphony’s level of technical skill and ability to handle and perform pieces from any genre and any level of difficulty. The ensemble has given guest performances at several national music conferences and has received praise from several music and culture associations.
